ENFORCEMENT

CTVET through its Enforcement Unit conducts periodic audits to institutions to ensure they continuously meet the same standards after they have been accredited. It categorizes and schedules institutions for standards compliance audits/ assessments.

The main function of the Unit is to quality ensure a proper implementation of quality assurance procedures by stakeholders and also to ensure stakeholder compliance with statutory laws, regulations and standards.

The Unit further recommends relevant sanctions and penalties on stakeholders who continuously do not comply with the Commission’s standards and regulations.

The element of quality assurance in the enforcement process is to help address the issues of mismatch, misalignment and gaps within our accreditation process and effective implementation of the Competency – Based Training by our various stakeholders.

The Unit also analyses and updates the Commission’s database system on all information related to its stakeholders.
